We’re just two guys who dreamed of opening our own restaurant one day–and since we grew up in the Philadelphia area, it was only natural that our restaurant would offer similar fare.

In 1995, our vision become a reality when the doors opened to Moogy’s Breakfast Sandwich Shop in it’s current location . We were happy to learn early on that Brighton residents appreciated our efforts to offer a different kind of sub shop–a place where the food is good, the decor is a bit funky and the atmosphere is totally relaxed.

With the support of the community, we were able to undergo a major renovation recently.  Since we do much of the work ourselves, it’s still a bit of a work in progress. But so far we have nearly doubled our seating capacity, incorporated a 50′ bar and added many homey touches (such as a cozy fireplace) to our previously limited space. Wahoo!

We hope the new look and special Moogy touches will encourage our faithful customers to make Moogy’s their home away from home–a place they can enjoy delicious food at a reasonable price, board games and a beer among friends.
